Devoted readers will remember that one of my functions in life is to lose to Charles at Monopoly. I'm not sure if Scott Meyer's tutorial will improve the experience for me, but it's worth a shot.

"So, Leta, is it difficult to live your life so that whenever you need to illustrate a point, you have an anecdote from your personal experience?" No, not really.
"On a break" is community theater for "spend more time with my family" which is politics for "unemployed." (Leta)
"If you want to help the American theater, don't be a performer -- be an audience." (Tallulah Bankhead)

Hi Leta! At our house, we have a printout of a bunch of "house rules." Every player picks one, and then we start. May I suggest the "Angel of Death" house rule? This randomly selected player has the option to unilaterally end the game after a fixed period of time. Google "Monopoly house rules" for more! gs
