One of those things that separates me from the top of the food chain here at work:
My boss* came out of his office earlier today and asked me if this is a pay week or not, a question I never have to ask another employee.

Dave's mom tells the story of the woman in her office who got a call from the State Comptrollers office asking her to "Please deposit your paychecks." Apparently she was working for the heck of it because she had months and months of paychecks in her desk drawer.
