Why is there no Hallmark card for this?

Today is the 592nd anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt. I know, I know, in 2015 there surely will be all kinds of hoop-la and bank holidays and fireworks and such and that I should just wait patiently.

And, appropriately enough, it rained heavily last night.

If you can read this, thank a longbowman.

If you can read this in English, thank a longbowman. (As an anglophile I will happily tag along here and not point out that the English were an invading army trying to take over France, not the other way around, but hey suck it Frenchi.)

No, no, Agincourt was merely an early example of pre-emptive war. If the English hadn't fought the French in France, they would have had to have fought them here.

Oh, wait, they did.
